Uinta Academy is a registered and approved residential treatment center focusing on relationship and horse therapy for teenagers struggling with attachment issues, mood disorders, maintaining interpersonal connections, or recovering after trauma. Our method is founded on solid references being essential for healing from trauma. Residents are put in one of our four residential homes in the picturesque Wellsville Mountains of northern Utah and therapeutically partnered with their horses. Teens at Uinta choose the house that best meets their requirements and promotes their development. Our skilled team includes certified therapists, educators, and caring direct care providers. We have dedicated our life as trained professionals to assisting youngsters in healing and gaining skills that will positively impact their lives.
